hey.. i just got in from working in MY garden.. because somebody has to you know. its dry.. we'll have to ask john if we can put some water on yours if we don't get rain soon. the little ephemerals are starting.. not fairyland yet but i'll post a photo when the epimediums come out. this afternoon i'm cleaning the fish tank and doing laundry and getting ready to go take care of miss ellen. we'll be in charge while matt and amelia go to china.. amelia is giving a big talk at a university in beijing. pretty cool...
i'll write you from florida. sue is in charge of your garden while i am away.. its in good hands as you know. i hope that by the time i get back (on the 23rd) you'll be having visitors. can't wait to see you. jim says hello.. said he's working on his deep fried goat cheese balls just for you. with beet sauce. hahahaha
