from Priscilla Buckley (the French one)

Well happy Easter dear Kim.

A beautiful day here in the south of France, trees plump with white blossoms, crisp blue sky, green buds bursting like popcorn, a fitting aftermath to a joyous three (yes 3) hour Easter vigil mass last night, all about resurrection. You were in my heart the whole time. I have confided you to my mom, another fighter, and I am so convinced she is fighting for you up there with the Big Guy. I feel so strongly that she is with you in a special way, helping you with the extraordinary progress you're making, and will continue to make. She is a good person to have on your side -- just as she was a very bad person to be on the wrong side of when we were kids!

I had my first conversation ever with Ben at Aunt Pitts' Boisterous Party after the funeral. He is a fine, solid young man, a rock like his dad. He made me feel better just for having spoken with him.

Has my niece and beloved goddaughter Anna stopped by to visit yet? She is studying at Spaulding -- says its the best place in the East -- and is most anxious to see you. She is a total delight and would be an excellent person, for example, to spit water all over once you're up to it.

So much love beating your way dear Kimmy!

Priscilla
