dearest kim..  i want to publicly thank your grand and glorious sister kate for this blog  (i know you have other sisters.. i just don't know them ).  i can never match the poetry of kate's writing but i so appreciate having this vehicle to be able to communicate with you when you couldn't communicate.  but now i can come see you and we can chat a bit.  when i returned home from maine yesterday and found a voice message from you wishing me a happy birthday, i broke into tears.  so i will end my entries on the blog as well..  thank you kate for making this happen, thank you kim for fighting and coming back. i'm with you all the way on this long road.  much love, p
